Lake Inawashiro

Lake Inawashiro is Japan’s fourth largest freshwater lake. Known as “Heavenly Mirror Lake,” it offers up some stunning views, with Mt. Bandai also majestically in the background.

Goshikinuma Pond (The Witch’s Eye)

Goshikinuma is a set of ‘five-colored ponds’ formed when Mt. Bandai erupted in 1888.
It is a mysterious crater lake that can be viewed from Jodo-daira up to Mt. Issai-kyozan and known as ‘Witch’s Eyes’ because its cobalt blue colour changes mysteriously depending on the light of the sun.
